The Coomeva Group created the campaign ACTIVATE THE FORCE OF COOPERATION, in order to designate resources to help families whose livelihood comes from the informal economy and who were hit by the quarantine caused by the COVID 19 pandemic.
This program provided the resources so that through the Coordinations of the Los del Camino Foundation, 20,172 markets were initially delivered to 3,362 families in 19 cities in Colombia, who since April 7, 2020 and for 3 consecutive months, received 1 market every 15 days. In a second phase, the COOMEVA GROUP designated resources to provide another 13,080 markets to 4,360 families in 26 cities of the country, who since July 30, 2020 received 1 monthly market for a consecutive period of 3 months. All the families were identified by the Los del Camino Foundation thanks to the execution of its programs throughout the country, thus guaranteeing that the aid reached the most needy. In addition, through its coordinators in each region we carry out the purchase, collection and distribution of the markets that were acquired in shops, barns and cooperatives, in order to benefit the peasants and small merchants who have also been affected in this crisis.
Let's activate the Cooperation Force
